A tourist village offers panoramic rice terraces, located at an average altitude of 700 meters above sea level. From this place you will be spoiled with views of the mountains and rice fields that stretch widely.

This tourist spot has become popular since it was approved as a natural tourist attraction in 2000. If you are natural lover and want to see an almost extinct irrigation system which is still well maintained by traditional water management cooperative since 9th century, it is highly recommended to come here while on vacation in Bali. Why Should i come to this place? Beside UNESCO world heritage site, the natural feel of the rice terraces is still calm, far from the busy city, and the air is still cool even in the daytime.

How to get to Jatiluwih UNESCO world Heritage?

If you are stay around Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Legian, Sanur and Nusa Dua, it is will take around 2 – 2.5 hours drive by car or scooter. Start at 7 or 8 am from the hotel or villa to reduce traffic on the road. Go past the Kerobokan road, then the Mengwi street, then the Marga street. From Marga village go straight for 40 minutes to the main destination.

And if you staying in Ubud town it will take 1.5 hours, take the steet to the Sangeh monkey forest then around 300 meters take the left lane to the main way of Denpasar – Singara city. Then take the right until you find Baturiti village then take the left again till main destination.
