Kelingking Beach information

Kelingking Beach is located in Karang Dawa hamlet, Bunga Mekar village, Nusa Penida sub-district. A beach located under a cliff, like the little finger. That’s why this place is called Kelingking beach. With white sand and surrounded by views of a very steep cliff with a height of up to 300 meters. If you want to enjoy your day on the white sand it requires sufficient stamina because the road to the beach is very steep and it is not recommended for the elderly to do this activity. Many tourists just come up to the top of the cliff to take photos with a very beautiful background. So that during the holiday season this location is crowded with foreign and local tourists

2. How to go to kelingking beach

Kelingking Beach is only a 45-minute drive from the harbor in Nusa Penida. During the holiday season, we recommend that you stay in Nusa Penida because visitors are very busy, so the distance from the port to the beach can be taken more than 1 hour. If you are in Bali and want to travel to the island of Nusa Penida, you have to leave in the morning and at 7.30 you must be at Sanur beach. From the port located on the coast of Sanur you have to take a fast boat to the island of Nusa Penida. Fast boat tickets range from IDR 150,000 per one way. From Sanur port to Nusa Penida port it takes about 45 minutes and after arriving you can rent a private car at a price of around IDR 500,000 per day including petrol and driver. You can also rent a motorbike for around IDR 150,000/day

If you stay in the Nusa Penida area, in the morning at 8 am is very good because visitors are not busy. At 9 o’clock after that this place will be packed with visitors. If you want to enjoy the sunset atmosphere this place is a very good place to spend your time. But we do not recommend going down to the beach closer because it is impossible for you to climb the dark cliffs.

4. Is there a fee when visiting this place?

Yes, right. All tourist attractions in Nusa Penida have an entrance ticket. so you have to prepare money in the form of cash rupiah before visiting this beach. The official entrance ticket is IDR 10,000 per person and IDR 5,000 for parking fees.

5. What do you need to bring when you come to this beach

You need to know if you visit Nusa Penida via Sanur Beach. After you arrive at Sanur beach after that you have to walk on the beach with knee-deep water to get on a fastboat. You have to take off your sandals or shoes so they don’t get wet. So we recommend not wearing long pants when traveling to Nusa Penida. Arriving at the port of Nusa Penida, you don’t have to go down to the beach again. What do you bring when you visit Kelingking beach! When you arrive at your destination, you will be presented with a local restaurant that serves drinks and food. So you don’t have to worry if you’re thirsty or hungry. Prepare cash for needs during the holidays in Nusa Penida. The weather is very hot, you must bring a hat and sunblock to protect your skin. The most important thing is not to forget the camera to capture your moment
