We offer 2 different places to climb to Mount Agung. The first to climb from near Besakih temple to the top of Mount Agung. This trek will take about 11 to 12 hours to the western peak of mount Agung. The second we offer trekking from Pasar Agung which takes about 7 – 8 hours to the southern peak of mount Agung.

Both options we offer that have different times to start this activity according to your wishes. But both of these journeys are the same through the forest and in the end through steep rocks to reach the top of this mountain. So we recommend that you have enough stamina to do this activity. When you arrive at the top it may feel very cold and windy but it will all pay off when the sun starts to rise. The surrounding scenery was beautiful with the sky turning purple, orange and red. We make sure you bring a camera to capture your moments, our trekking guide is ready to help take photos for you. When the sun is higher you will see the whole island of Bali and you will also see neighboring islands such as Lombok and Nusa Penida.

This package includes breakfast which will be served after you watch the sunrise. Enjoy your breakfast before we continue our journey down to the finish point. Our driver is ready to wait at the finish point and transfer to your hotel.

A. Mount Agung Trekking from Besakih start point

Tour Itinerary:

TBA – Pick up time dipending on your hotel location in Bali island and then transfer to the starting point at Besakih Temple
23:15 – Arrive at Besakih temple or starting point, Our professional tour guide will give you some introduction and safety procedure briefing
23:45 – Start for our climb to the summit and sunrise point
05:45 – Arrive at the top or summit, where we are enjoy hot drinks, snacks and enjoy the spectacular views and sunrise.
07:25 – Start our descent to Finish point which is located in Besakih Temple.
13:15 – Arrive at Besakih temple of finishing point and then drop back to your hotel
