The tenganan Traditional village and Lempuyang Temple Tour is a full-day Bali excursion designed for those who wish to visit Bali’s oldest village and see the island’s most iconic photo spot the “Gates of Heaven” at Lempuyang Temple. First, we will visit the traditional village of Tenganan, located in Manggis District, Karangasem Regency. This village is known as the oldest in Bali, still preserving the customary rules, way of life, and ancient architecture established by its forebears long before the Majapahit era. Upon arrival, you will be guided by a local guide who will accompany you as you explore the village.

On the way to Lempuyang Temple, we will stop at Tirta Gangga water Palace a popular attraction in East Bali that you shouldn’t miss during your tour of the region. This tourist attraction offers photo spots within a water garden surrounded by aesthetic statues and fountains, with koi fish swimming around you beneath the water’s surface.

Next, we will visit the Penataran Agung Lempuyang Temple, located on Jalan Pura Telaga Mas Lempuyang specifically, on the slopes of Mount Lempuyang. This tourist attraction features a temple gateway set against the backdrop of Mount Agung, the highest mountain in Bali. One of Bali’s most popular tourist attractions for those seeking an iconic selfie spot posing at a temple gate with a valley and Mount Agung in the background.
