Virgin Beach Karangasem
Virgin Beach Karangasem is located in Karangasem district, East Bali. This beach precisely located on Jalan Perasi, Perasi village. This beach is also known as Perasi Beach by local residents, according to the name of its location.
Virgin Beach is the only beach with white sand in East Bali. And beaches in East Bali generally have black sand because they are close to Mount Agung which has erupted several times, the last in 2017. When compared to the beaches in the Nusa Dua area, South Bali. It may still be much whiter in South Bali such as Nusa Dua Beach, Dreamland beach, Kuta beach and the surrounding areas.
Virgin Beach Karangasem is known as a hidden beach in the eastern part of Bali, which is a beach far from the crowds or local residents. The beach is not very wide and is shaped like a bay so that the left and right are bordered by cliffs and green hills. And you will see coconut trees lined up along Virgin beach.

How Long does it take to drive from Ngurah Rai airport to Virgin beach?
If you drive from Ngurah Rai airport it will take 2 hours 15 minutes or around 73.3 km. Pass the Bali Mandara toll road to make your trip faster. Then follow Prof.Dr. Ida Bagus Mantra road until you arrive at Goa Lawah road. Follow the main road until you arrive at the village of Perasi. Road access is quite easy and can be passed by car until it reaches the parking area. From the parking area you have to walk to the location.
Entrance fee and opening hours
Entrance ticket to the Virgin beach tourist attractions is IDR 20,000 per person. And vehicle parking fee of IDR 5,000 per car. You need to know that most entrance ticket payments in Bali only accept Indonesia currency in cash. So you can prepare it before arriving at the location. Open every day from 6am to 6pm. Except for Nyepi day or known as silent day, it is closed 24 hours.
