The length of the beach is not very wide and the location is hidden so it is good for those of you who want to enjoy the tranquillity. the location of this beach is far from the crowds, unlike Kuta beach which is always busy every day.

Blue Lagoon Beach offers a beach with white sand, with clear and calm sea water so you can see the beauty of the underwater world. This place is still relatively quiet, the majority of visitors are foreign tourists and usually local tourists tend to go to South Bali such as Kuta beach, Tanjung Benoa, water Blow Nusa Dua, Pandawa beach and Melasti Beach.

Apart from being known for its quiet and beautiful beaches, there is also the beauty of the underwater world that is worth visiting when visiting Blue Lagoon beach. With clear water, the coral reefs will be clearly visible and colourful fish will fill the coral reefs. Snorkeling or diving activities are a great idea to explore the underwater beauty of this beach. Many tourists, especially divers, include this place in their travel list while in Bali.

Blue Lagoon Scuba Diving

Blue Lagoon is known for its scuba diving activities because there is a lot of underwater life than you can see there. Here you can see various kinds of fish, and you can see the big Wrasse fish or known as Nepoleon Wrasse, its Big lips make this fish look very cute. Swimming with this fish is a valuable experience. In addition, you can also see stargazer fish, stingrays, colorful scorpion fish, and eels.

Blue Lagoon Snorkeling

Blue Lagoon is a great place for snorkeling because the water is clear and clean and there are coral reefs and various types of marine life that you can see here. Many travel agents include snorkeling and diving activities at the Blue Lagoon in a special East Bali tour package. Or you can some directly to Blue Lagoon beach. There are snorkeling and diving equipment rental facilities available. And along the beach there are local boats for rent. Usually the boat rental price includes exploring two good diving locations in East Bali, Namely Blue Lagoon and Tanjung Jepun. If you are the first to come to this location, we recommend using a local guide to do diving activities. Diving activities in a new location are not good if you are alone because you do not understand the weather and terrain there.

Even though Blue Lagoon Beach is in a hidden location, you don’t need to worry because this place is supported by several facilities to make you holiday more comfortable. You don’t need to worry if you are hungry because along the beach there are small stalls and restaurants that sell food and toilets are also provided. And many local guides provide rental of snorkeling and diving equipment and boats to get to diving locations.

Location

Blue Lagoon Beach is located in East Bali, precisely in Padang Bai village, Manggis sub-district. If you drive from the airport, it will take about 2 hours through the Ida Bagus Mantra bypass until you arrive at Padang Bai village. Blue lagoon beach is close to Padang Bai Harbor, which is known for inter-island sea transportation. Such as Gili island, Lombok, Florest and others. About 800 meters east of Padang Bai harbor you will find this beautiful beach.

Entrance fee and opening hours

There is no entrance fee to Blue Lagoon Beach, Juts a parking fee of 5.000 rupiah per vehicle. Open 24 hours except Nyepi day there are no activities on this beach.
